Workshops

Our Engaging the Disengaged workshops and Trust Before Tools webinars help followers of Jesus feel more confident engaging people who may not think, believe, or live as they do. Participants leave with practical language, a fresh perspective, and next steps that make gospel conversations in post-Christian spaces feel less intimidating and more natural in everyday life.

Learn How to Engage Spiritually Disengaged People in a Post-Christian Culture

At the heart of The Bruns Tribe is a simple belief:

the gospel is most often experienced through relationships.

That’s why workshops and connection-based events aren’t just something we offer—they’re the heartbeat of what we do.

We don’t just want to teach principles. We want to model them, practice them, and walk alongside you as you learn how to build meaningful relationships with spiritually curious people in your everyday life.

Because we believe this deeply:
How can we teach relational evangelism without living it with you first?

Dare to Be Awkward Letter

Dare to Be Awkward Letter is a practical invitation to step toward spiritually disengaged people with courage, humility, and authenticity, even when faith conversations feel uncertain or uncomfortable. It helps followers of Jesus recognize that overcoming the fear of being awkward can lead to meaningful connections that open the door to trust and conversations about Jesus.

Story Letter

Story Letter is a collection of honest reflections and real-life stories that explore faith, family, culture, and the ways God meets us in everyday life. Through personal storytelling, it invites readers to think deeply, see differently, and discover how ordinary moments often carry deeper spiritual meaning.

Meal with a Mom

We believe many young adults are carrying real questions about life, faith, relationships, and direction, but often lack a trusted older voice to process with them. Our hope is simply to create space, outside the church and without pressure, for honest conversation, encouragement, and the story of Jesus.

Coffee with a Pastor

We believe many people are spiritually curious but cautious, open to faith yet hesitant, searching for answers but unsure who to trust, and they don’t know a pastor or would not meet one in a church. Our hope is simply to create space, outside the church, without pressure for honest conversations about life, meaning, and the story of Jesus.

Build a Relationship First

Sometimes what people need most isn’t a program.

It’s a conversation.

We’ve found that many people—especially young adults—are carrying real questions about life, faith, relationships, and purpose. They’re open, but cautious. Curious, but unsure who to trust.

So we’ve created simple spaces to meet people right where they are.

Meal with a mom

A relaxed, no-pressure meal where young adults can ask honest questions, process life, and be encouraged by someone who cares.

No agenda. No expectations.
Just a seat at the table and space for real conversation.

Coffee with a pastor

A casual, one-on-one conversation outside the walls of the church.

For those who are spiritually curious but hesitant, this is a place to talk about life, meaning, and faith—without pressure or assumptions.
